Sleep in a yurt

and reconnect with our nomadic ancestors

'As I stepped out of the yurt this morning, I saw the most butterflies together I had ever seen ... Satori is a magical place ... More than ever in these troubled times for our planet and ecosystem, we and all non-human life need the sanctuary of places like Satori [and Daisy yurt] to reconnect us to our profound, mostly neglected, sense of sacred belonging and love for Mother Earth.'

Jacqui, 2021

Satori is set on the side of a gently south-west sloping valley which levels out in the glade and woodlands. There you'll find our endearing 21-foot Daisy yurt and the other camping pitches.

Daisy is home to a comfy double bed and two singles. All linen and bedding is provided; you just need to bring your own towels. You'll find a sofa, a dining table, and a wood burner to make the space extra cosy.

Daisy opens out on to a kitchen/porch on a raised deck. Here you'll find a camping gas stove, and all pots, pans, cutlery, plates, etc. are there for you to use.

The nitty-gritty

The yurt is comfortable and totally immersed in nature. The compost toilet is only 4-minutes' walk away.

The communal washing up sink next to our quirky wood-fired shower (eco products provided), is located in the Wonky Wood Store, just 2 minutes from Daisy.  Here you will also find a dedicated tap for filtered drinking water from Satori's very own spring!
