Simple, off-grid and wild

Looking for a truly wild camping experience?

With 15 acres of wildflower meadows and 7 acres of ancient woodland, Satori is the perfect place to wild camp.

Immerse yourself in nature without the crowds or modern amenities you’ll find at most campsites.

The nitty-gritty

You’ll have access to our compost toilet, and you'll find the washing-up sink next to our quirky wood-fired shower (eco products provided). There is a dedicated tap for filtered drinking water from Satori's very own spring!

Important info

Here's what you need to know:

  • No loud parties

  • Open fires permitted, wood available to purchase

  • Only tents that blend with the environment (e.g. greens, greys etc)

  • A certain level of fitness is needed as there is no vehicle access to your accommodation; it's approximately 7-minutes' walk from the car park

  • The small village of Churchinford is within walking distance (approximately 1.9 miles), featuring an English country pub (The York Inn), and a community shop with Wi-Fi and post office
